Simply Irresistable!
Sometimes
we all sin willingly, and other times, we are not even aware that what we are doing is wrong. There are many ways we
can equip ourselves to resist temptation, one of them is to pray silently, another is to remove ourselves from the place of
temptation and keep clear of it, or simply, find a hobby to keep yourself busy and away from temptation. However, understanding
temptation is probably getting to the root of the matter, only remember, Jesus too was tempted, at a time when he least needed
it (he had been driven into the desert by the Holy Spirit) and had nothing to eat in all that time. Satan saw this as
an opportune moment to offer him all sorts of weird and wonderful things, but Jesus saw through the smokescreen of candy-coated
empty promises. When we keep close to God, and press into Him, seeking him daily, praying and rejecting wrong, then
our eyes, ears and other senses become attuned to resistance, and the act of resisting temptation. In so doing, we keep
in God's favour and do not fall out of Grace, as did David, whom God loved much, but who had to see his beloved son be
subjected to death, because of his own unwillingness to resist temptation. After he was restored (David) God blessed
